Eldria is an independent, non-commercial hobby game run privately from within the European Union. Questions, account deletion requests, and privacy requests can be sent to privacy@eldriagame.com.

Terms of Service

Eligibility and accounts. You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid invite to create an account. Give accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure, and do not share or transfer your account.

Early access. Eldria is unfinished software offered for testing and entertainment. Features, worlds, characters, progress, and availability may change. The service may be interrupted or discontinued, and test data may be reset.

Player conduct. Do not cheat, exploit bugs, automate play, evade sanctions, impersonate others, harass players, disrupt the service, or use Eldria unlawfully. Report security issues and serious exploits privately.

Licence. You receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the client and service. Eldria's original code, art, names, and other content remain owned by their respective rightsholders. Do not redistribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the client or service except where the law permits it.

Virtual content. Eldria does not currently sell anything. Characters, items, and progress have no cash value and may only be used inside the service. If paid features are introduced later, separate purchase terms will be provided before they launch.

Suspension and closure. Eldria is a private, invite-only early-access project. The operator may suspend or close an account, or refuse access to the service, at any time and at their sole discretion, for any reason and with or without notice, including for reasons not listed in these terms. This applies only to the extent permitted by law. You may stop using Eldria at any time and request account deletion by email.

Availability and law. The service is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Liability is limited only to the extent German law allows. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. German law governs these terms, subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live.

Privacy Notice

Who is responsible. The private operator of Eldria, based in Germany, is responsible for the processing described here. Contact: privacy@eldriagame.com.

Account and game service. Eldria stores account, authentication, verification, invite, and terms-acceptance information, along with characters, game state, sessions, and moderation records. This data is needed to create and operate your account and provide the game. The legal basis is performance of these Terms of Service.

Gameplay analytics and public features. Eldria records gameplay events and behaviour, character progression, activity and session information, and client and connection performance metrics. This is used to operate and improve the game, diagnose problems, and provide features such as online-player counts and leaderboards. Character names, realms, and some gameplay statistics may be public. The legal bases are performance of the service agreement for player-facing features and Eldria's legitimate interest in operating and improving the game.

Early-access list and email. If you join the list, Eldria stores your email address, signup and invite information, and country inferred from your IP address. The email list is based on your consent, which you can withdraw by contacting Eldria. Country statistics are based on the legitimate interest in understanding Eldria's audience. Your IP is sent to an IP-to-country service but is not stored in the subscriber record; it may still appear in application or provider logs.

Reports, security, and technical data. Reports include the information you submit and related account, character, gameplay, connection, and technical context. Servers and infrastructure may also log IP addresses, requests, authentication events, errors, and timestamps. This data is used to investigate reports, troubleshoot faults, prevent abuse and cheating, enforce the rules, and protect the service. The legal basis is Eldria's legitimate interest in running a safe and reliable service. Only the operator has administrative access.

Website analytics and error monitoring. Eldria uses session-only website analytics for general usage and technical information, including referrer and campaign information. It does not intentionally identify visitors or link separate browsing sessions, and it does not use persistent analytics storage. Account-action tokens are excluded from analytics. Technical error and diagnostic information is sent to an error-monitoring provider; session replay is disabled. This processing is based on Eldria's legitimate interest in understanding and maintaining the website.

Cookies. The website sets a short-lived authentication cookie when you log in. It is necessary to provide the account area. Eldria does not set a persistent analytics cookie.

Service providers and international transfers. Eldria uses providers for website and game hosting, databases, storage, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring, and IP-country lookup. They receive only the data needed for their role. A provider or its subprocessors may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or contractual safeguards such as the EU standard contractual clauses. Contact Eldria for more information about the safeguards that apply.

Retention. Account, character, and gameplay records are kept while your account is active. Some security, moderation, report, analytics, and backup records may be kept afterwards where they are still needed to investigate abuse, maintain the service, meet legal obligations, or handle legal claims. Early-access records are kept while the invite programme is active or until you withdraw. Logs and error records are kept only as long as they remain useful for security and troubleshooting.

Your choices and rights. The information requested during account creation is required; without it, Eldria cannot create an account. Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Eldria does not make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Contact the address above to exercise a right.

You may complain to the competent German data-protection authority or another EU/EEA data-protection authority. Eldria is intended only for adults and does not knowingly accept registrations from anyone under 18. Material changes to this notice will be published here with a new version date.
